Lego Masters isn’t just a show about bricks, it’s a show about people. Over the years, we’ve met brilliant builders, hilarious personalities, and unforgettable teams who made the show what it is. But who truly deserves a spot in the Lego Masters Hall of Fame?
In our new video, we’re kicking off a new series called Legends of the Stud, where we spotlight the most memorable Lego Masters contestants from around the world. This isn’t just about who won. Meet the First Inductees: Jesse and Carara
For the first installment, I had to go back to where it all began, Season 1 of Lego Masters USA. While there were plenty of talented teams, no one brought the energy quite like Jessie & Kara.
They were only on the show for two episodes, but their personalities were electric. Kara especially became an instant fan favorite with her iconic facial expressions and big presence. Every time the camera landed on them, it was magic.
Their first build, Journey Through Dreams, showed off their creativity and storytelling. Their second build, Alien Attack, was part of a unique (and chaotic) slow-motion destruction challenge. Unfortunately, that’s the one that sent them home, but not before they made their mark.
Why They Belong in the Hall of Fame
Jesse and Kara represent everything that makes Lego Masters great:
Big personalities that made the show more fun
A deep love of Lego as a creative outlet
A connection that made them compelling to watch
A willingness to take creative risks, even if it didn’t always work
Kara is locally known as, "The Lego Lady", running a free Lego club for kids and using bricks as a tool for creativity, therapy, and community building. Jesse now lives in Hawaii, working as a certified master life coach and writing a book titled 12 Months, Four Seasons, and One Fabulous Life.
They didn’t need to win a trophy to become Lego Masters legends.
What Is “Legends of the Stud”?
Legends of the Stud is our own version of a Lego Masters Hall of Fame. It’s a way to honor the teams who made the show memorable: whether for their builds, their energy, or their impact on the Lego community.
