The Best: Las Vegas Raiders vs. LA Chargers
This game was pure visual perfection. You had the clean, iconic black-and-silver of the Raiders clashing against the bright, vibrant powder blue and yellow of the Chargers. It looked like a scene straight out of Pleasantville where a monochrome world collides with pure color. It was easily the best-dressed matchup of the week, and honestly, it might end up being the best-dressed game of the entire season.
The Worst: Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks
On paper, a sand-colored alternate honoring the Arizona state flag sounds like a cool concept. On the field, in the actual lighting, and soaked in sweat, it was a complete disaster. Paired with a design that increases in contrast when it gets wet, the Cardinals literally looked like they pooped themselves and forgot to wipe. It was an easy choice for my first official half-point rating and TURD award of the year.
