Happy release day! We’ve been counting down the calendar for months, and today is finally the day: our very first single, "Baby Shop," is officially live on all music streaming platforms!
The Green Bacon Family Band is an independent family folk project anchored by husband-and-wife duo Robert Bacon and Ruth Green.
When we set out to make music together, our goal was simple: write organic, acoustic children’s songs that kids genuinely love to sing along to, but sound good enough that parents won't want to throw their car speakers out the window on a long road trip. Think cozy campfire folk meets bouncy living room dance party.

A True Family Affair
For our debut track, we wanted to keep things as homegrown as possible. You’ll hear guest instrumentation from Ruth’s sister, Roslyn Green, who joined us in the studio to bring "Baby Shop" to life.
As for the rest of the lineup? We already have our next band member on standby: our daughter. The second she’s old enough to shake a tambourine or sing into a mic, she’s officially joining the full-time roster!
